Sorry for such a gap!

Things have been pretty hectic and crazy lately so I haven't been doing a very good job keeping up with the blog. I apologize. I have updated it with events starting with Mardi Gras, including visits to the zoo and Global wildlife, and Easter Egg hunt, the new puppy, and St. Patrick's Day. I hope yall enjoy the pictures. As far as the pregnancy, it's going good. We are expecting him any day now. I was 2 centimeters dilated at my appointment on Monday so it can be any day now. I will try to do better with keeping yall up to date. Love you, Jennifer

St. Patty's Day

Well, after the Easter Egg hunt and picking up Maggie on Saturday, we went to Metairie on Sunday for the St. Patrick Day Parade. The parade route passed right in front of Mama's neighborhood so we spent the day with Mama, Mom, and Mom's friend Steve. Hayley had a lot of fun and Victor was heavily in the St. Patty's Day spirit!

Maggie Mae

After a lot of discussion, we decided to give the "puppy thing" another chance after the last puppy experience went sour. However, with me cutting back on work and Noah on the way, I will be home a lot more to hopefully have enough time with her. So, after the Easter egg hunt last Saturday, we drove to Natchez, Ms and picked up a 6 week old sheltie puppy- Maggie Mae. She is the same breed as Bailey. We were hoping Bailey would not be so lonely now but she is just more angry than lonely about the new puppy! She seems to be Hayley's puppy more than mine! They are inseparable. Wish us better luck with this one!

Easter Egg Hunt

My company throws an annual Easter egg hunt every year. This was Hayley's second year attending but she understood it a lot more this year. We brought a friend of ours little girl with us. She and Hayley had a great time and it was quite a learning experience for me trying to keep up with a 16 month old and a 2 year old! I was pooped!! Hayley was not very fond of the Easter bunny and she is still talking about him a week later and how he made her cry!

The Zoo and Global Wildlife

We've been staying pretty busy lately. We took Hayley to the zoo with a good friend of mine and her daughter. They had a lot of fun and Hayley really enjoyed her new wagon!
The following weekend we took her to Global Wildlife and fed all of the animals. Of course she enjoyed that!

Mardi Gras 2008

Hayley was a bit hesitant at her first parade but she loved the second one! She keeps asking when the parades are coming back!

We Love You Pup

Pup (A.K.A. Neiner) June 2004- January 2008
Pup was a skittish, shy, nervous dog to most, but to her family, she was a playful, loving, patient, and gentle part of our family. She protected us day and night and proved to be very loyal and loving, especially to Hayley. She fostered every small animal that ever came in our home, including our latest additions: Emma (puppy) and Charlie (rabbit). She spent her days outside with Emma or playing inside with Hayley and her nights were spent snuggled in bed with her mom and dad. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
