We'll Miss You Pinky

Hayley learned a hard and sad life lesson today. When she woke up, her baby bunny Pinky was dead. She found her dead before I did and I think that was hard for her. She came to me and asked me why Pinky wouldn't wake up. All day she asked about Pinky and where she went. We decided to get her another bunny to help her forget about Pinky, but his one is not as calm or sweet. Hopefully with enough handling, it will be sweet too. Pinky was an exceptionally good bunny and we will all miss her. Hayley's new bunny's name is Charlie because we do not know if it's a boy or girl. Charlie is the brown one, and Pinky was white with pink eyes.

Our First Christmas Tree

Well, we finally got our first Christmas tree in our new house! We have never had enough room for a whole tree in our previous home! The decorations were scarce this year but we will hopefully have more by next year. Bailey thought that the tree made a nice hiding spot!

Christmas at Mom's house

We had Christmas brunch with my Mom and Grandmother at the Royal Sonesta on Christmas day. It was very nice. Afterwards we went to Mom's house and had gumbo and apple pie for dinner. Before leaving, we took some Christmas pictures!

New Additions

We have 2 new additions to the family! Bo and Peep are Hayley's new chickens! We had to get rid of Aflac and Popeye (The duck and Chicken) because Aflac would not stop pottying on the patio and Popeye kept attacking Emma when she would try to go potty outside. Anyway, Hayley is pretty happy with her new chickens. We also have Beauty, the horse living with us now. Don't worry, it will be a farm soon enough!!

The dogs

Now that Emma is getting older, and a little bit more obedient, I was finally able to get her to sit still long enough to take their picture together! They're so cute!!

Christmas Pictures

We decided not to spend the ridiculous amount of money this year on Christmas pictures. Instead, we took them at my Mom's house in front of her fireplace. They're not as nice as professional ones but they will do. Hayley seemed to have more fun and she was able to take a few with her Uncle PhiPhi! She's absolutely crazy about him!!

21 at last

Well, I am finally completely legal! Although, it seems like I turned 21 years ago!! It was a good birthday. The night before we went over to my Mom's house and had dinner and cake. The following day I went to the Fairgrounds Racecourse and tried my luck at gambling! Once I was -$20 I gave up- but it was still fun! I got my birthday present a couple of months early- a miniature long haired dachshund puppy named Emma- so she's a little larger in the picture than she was when I got her. The baby decided to announce his presence on my birthday weekend! I was not really showing on Friday, but Saturday, there was no missing my large belly! I also was not asked for my I.D at all on my birthday during my gambling experience!!
